OUR SESSIONS ARE A SAFE PLACE WHERE
  • You can talk through any life challenges and struggles you are facing, no matter how big or small they seem to you. Talk therapy is there for everyone and everything.

  • You can explore and gain increasing insight into your inner world and why is it is the way it is: thoughts, beliefs, feelings, behaviours, insecurities, fears, issues - we explore it all with the goal of understanding. The more we understand the roots and causes of our beliefs and behaviours, that's when we can take effective steps to create positive change. Without self-awareness, the same patterns keep repeating.

  • We take one thing and one step at a time. This journey is not a race and there is no deadline to be reached. Changing habits takes time and training the mind is like training muscles at the gym: commitment to our growth & wellbeing, consistency, and patience are key. We know that change & progress are not always immediately visible, and that this can be a long process which may feel difficult or painful initially. However, this is a normal part of the process. Feeling is part of healing.

What sessions look like
  • You are the expert on your life. I am not here to fix you, but to offer you a safe and supportive space to help you understand yourself better, create connections, facilitate change, and guide & accompany you through this journey. I am not here to tell you what to do, but to empower you to find the answers that are already within you.

  • You can develop healthy coping skills to deal with the things we cannot control (e.g. unexpected events & challenges, other people's beliefs & actions), and also to better handle the things within our control (e.g. our emotions, beliefs, behaviours, daily life stressors).

  • We create change from the inside out: we focus the mind and internal world and work on building strong internal foundations which will then radiate externally into all areas of your life.

  • You can learn to create fulfilling relationships with yourself and others, no matter what your relationship status is.

  • You can learn to love & value yourself, develop self-compassion, self-confidence and healthy self-esteem.

  • You can gain clarity on what you want your life to look like and get help, support and accountability to achieve your goals.

INTEGRATIVE THERAPY

Integrative therapy is an approach to therapy that does not solely focus on one specific methodology. Instead, it draws from different therapeutic orientations to adapt to and best support the specific needs of each client and their specific problem. This approach acknowledges that there is no one size fits all approach or a method that is the best, but uses them in combination to provide the most effective treatment for each individual. In addition, integrative therapy adopts a holistic view of an individual’s life and integrates the many parts that are part of it (instead of one thing in isolation): e.g. mind, body, soul, thoughts, emotions, relationships, work, spirituality. The main therapeutic orientations I draw from to guide my work are the following:

  • Psychodynamic therapy

  • Person-centered therapy

  • Mindfulness

  • Cognitive-behavioural therapy

  • Coaching
